Landscape installation questions
What does landscape installation include?
Tree and shrub planting, perennial and annual beds, native plants, foundation plantings, privacy screening, mulch and edging, soil amendment, and drainage where the lot needs it.
Do you only install your own designs?
We install our plans and we can install a plan you already have. Either way we place each plant for long-term success, not just a one-day look.
Where do the plants come from?
We source from trusted local nurseries so stock is already used to Southern Maine weather. From specimen trees to perennials, each plant is handled for the root ball, not dropped and walked away from.
How do you handle Maine soil and drainage?
Clay and ledge are common here. We amend the planting hole, set the crown at the right height, and add drainage when water sits. That is why new beds live past the first August dry spell.
What happens after the crew leaves?
You get post-planting care instructions so the first weeks of watering are clear. After that, a maintenance program can take over pruning, mulch, and weeding.
