Landscape design questions
What does a landscape design include?
A site visit, soil and sun analysis, concept drawings, then final plans with plant lists, hardscape specifications, and installation guidelines. Everything needed to build the yard.
Do you design for Maine’s climate?
Yes. We plan for sun, soil, drainage, and a short growing season. Plant lists are built to live through Greater Portland winters, not just look good in a catalog photo.
Can the work be installed in phases?
Yes. Phased implementation planning is part of the design list. We can sequence patio, planting, and lawn so the budget stretches across seasons.
Do you provide 3D renderings?
3D renderings and visualizations are on the design services list when they help you see the plan. We will tell you if a simpler drawing is enough.
