Landscaping in Saco: What We Know

Saco pairs a historic Main Street, Thornton Academy, and the mill buildings on Saco Island with a long coastline that runs from Camp Ellis and Ferry Beach State Park to Bayview. Inland, newer neighborhoods off Route 112, Jenkins Road, and the Route 1 corridor have been adding homes steadily, and the Saco River and Saco Heath give the town a mix of wet lowland and dry, sandy upland.
